CCI Edits Offered As A Gateway EDI Web Tool

CCI (Correct Coding Initiative) Edits can now be implemented for your practice through Gateway EDI. As a new Web Tool, CCI edit warnings can be turned on and viewed prior to claim submission to the payer. CCI Edits are currently available for Medicare claims.

SCoPE Enhancement: Secondary Claim On-line Correction

By signing up for SCoPE, Gateway EDI automatically identifies, creates and submits secondary claims on your behalf. Now, along with this service, you are offered the capability to correct errors on these claims and resubmit the claim straight from our website!

Paper, Paper Go Away

The push all around is the elimination of paper. With privacy issues, storage restrictions, cost reductions and just plain environmental pressures, we continue to find ways to eliminate paper. Medicare carriers are providing less and less information in print – including newsletters and remittance advice. Providers who are receiving ERA’s (Electronic Remittance Advice) from Medicare carriers today, will soon not receive this information on paper. Therefore, if a paper claim is required for the secondary payer with a printout of the Medicare remittance information, some providers may have trouble accommodating this process. Gateway EDI continues to offer valuable tools on our website to manage your claim information.
